When you want to enjoy the best of the land and the sea, several local restaurants serve some of the best surf and turf in town. They serve steaks and lamb chops with your seafood favorites. The eateries for surf and turf near our apartments in Virginia Beach include:
Aberdeen Barn
A Virginia Beach favorite since 1966, the Aberdeen Barn is where guests are treated like family. It draws locals and visitors alike and is a fun place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. On the menu, you'll find a lamb chop and fried grouper combo. This delicious dish is served with a house salad, fresh bread, and your choice of side.
Waterman's Surfside Grille
Nestled at the heart of the oceanfront, Waterman's Surfside Grille opened in the 1960s in what was once a walk-up burger joint souvenir shop. It's known for its ocean-minded fare, famous Orange Crushes, and fabulous specials. For dinner, add a coldwater lobster tail to your boneless ribeye. This combination makes for some tasty surf and turf fare.
Chix on the Beach
Chix on the Beach opened when President Carter was president, and Saturday Night Fever was one of the country's most popular movies. Today, the restaurant blends the old with the new. It mixes "nearly 40 years of history with the best new recipes of today" and offers something delicious to try during every visit. Order the ribeye. Between 4:00 p.m. and close, it's served with chef's potatoes and sauteed vegetables, and you can add a fried crab cake or lobster roll for some delicious surf and turf.
After some surf and turf, pick up your favorite fudge for a sweet treat. Finally, if you're looking to call The Apartments at Spence Crossing home, please contact us. Our leasing team will schedule a tour of our luxury apartments in Virginia Beach, where you can see everything we have to offer.
