Fall weather in Virginia is beautiful! The leaves are changing colors, the weather is mild, and you can usually trick-or-treat without a heavy coat! It also means that you can enjoy all the fall fun that Hampton Roads has to offer. There are several autumn activities and Halloween Parties around town, many of them close to The Apartments at Spence Crossing!

Haunted Hunt Club Farm
Hunt Club Farm is a petting zoo and farm market in Virginia Beach, located just 12 minutes from the Apartments at Spence Crossing. In the spring and summer, visitors can feed the lorikeets in the aviary, or feed the chickens and goats. There is a treehouse adventure walk for little ones, as well as pony rides on the property. In the fall you can peruse the pumpkin patch and find seasonal goodies in the farmer’s market. It’s a destination that’s rich with experiences for the whole family. 

In September and October, the farm transforms into Haunted Hunt Club, complete with a corn maze, a haunted hayride, and two different haunted houses! This local’s favorite is sure to put you in the Halloween spirit with costumed ghouls and spooky surprises at every turn! 

Enjoy the Haunted Hayride, which takes you deep into the property and through dark and scary tunnels. Death Alley is another outdoor adventure through haunted “burial grounds.” Forbidden Fields is a haunted corn maze, with scary performers lurking in the shadows. And Village of the Dead is a haunted house that will leave you screaming!

In addition to all the spooky haunts, there is a midway with vendors and local crafters, plus a giant 100-foot slide and other attractions! Make a night of it and bring the family for loads of Halloween fun!
