The residents at the Apartments at Spence Crossing will tell you that visiting the onsite pool feels like a vacation. This saltwater oasis is a beautiful setting for summer activities, whether you’re grilling in the outdoor kitchen, getting some aquatic exercise, or just catching up on your summer reading list under the shade of the pergola. The pool area is surrounded by colorful landscaping, which makes it feel like a tropical paradise. 

The resort-style pool features a sloped entry so that guests can wade up to their comfort, or just relax in the shallow end. There is built-in seating around the perimeter of the pool so that swimmers can sit in the water to chat. Feel free to bring some pool toys or an inflatable lounge so that you can float your way to total relaxation. 

The fun doesn’t stop at the water’s edge–the outdoor kitchen features a gas grill and granite counter top for food prep. Flex your culinary skills with an alfresco meal and provide a much-needed snack to the young swimmers in your group. (Note that use of the grill is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We kindly ask that you please clean the kitchen area before you leave.)

The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor day, from 11am-8pm daily. The pool is accessible only via a key fob, which may be obtained at the Office. When you arrive, please sign in with the pool attendant. Note that the pool attendant is not a lifeguard, and you should swim at your own risk. Residents may bring up to two guests. Please note that you are responsible for the behavior of your guests, and the pool attendant may ask someone to leave if he or she feels that they are affecting the safety or enjoyment of others in the pool area. 

To maintain a safe and pleasant pool experience, there are some rules we ask everyone to follow:

1. No diving is allowed at any time.
2. Please shower before wading or swimming.
3. Running, shouting, or unnecessary noise is prohibited.
4. No pets are allowed in the pool enclosure.
5. Earphones must be used with all radios and speakers.
6. Glass items are not permitted inside the pool gate, nor are any type of alcoholic beverages. Food will be permitted only at the outdoor kitchen, grill, and deck tables provided. Due to health restrictions, no food is allowed within five (5) feet of the water’s edge. Drinks are not allowed in the pool.
7. The outdoor kitchen and grill must be cleaned immediately after use. This area is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
8. Wet attire is not allowed in the Leasing Center.
9. Each Resident is responsible for their conduct and their family members and guests.
10. Please be aware that there will be no lifeguard on duty. Anyone under the age of 14 is not permitted in the pool area without a supervising adult 18 years of age or older in attendance.
11. No one is allowed in the pool area after the pool has closed.
12. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED in the pool or surrounding common area.
13. All residents must wear appropriate attire in the pool and pool area. Thong-cut bottoms are not permitted.
14. Non-toilet-trained children must wear waterproof pants with disposable diapers specifically designed for swimming.
15. Violation of one or more of the above rules could result in revocation of your pool privileges.
