Norfolk Kayak Rentals

Founded in 2020, Norfolk Kayak Rentals offers the only kayak rentals along the Lafayette River. You will start at the Highland Park Veterans Kayak Launch and can spend an hour or two on the water or an entire day. For added fun, enjoy the shop's Nature and Eco Tour. During the 90-minute adventure, the guide will discuss wildlife, the river's ecosystem, and other topics. Dolphins and bald eagles might be spotted along the way.

Virginia Beach Watersports

Family-owned and operated, Virginia Beach Watersports is where Jonathan and Bethany Picking love all things summer and watersports. They treat customers like long-lost family, and their friendly dog enjoys greeting everyone, too. Depending on the location, rentals may include jet skis or pontoon boats. Additionally, the shop also offers a watersports and boat cruise. It provides the opportunity to try tubing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing. If you aren't interested in watersports, just let the captain know. He'll take you on an exciting nature-watching cruise instead.

VB Surf Sessions

A surf school and small shop, VB Surf Sessions welcomes all ages and abilities. Rentals include surfboards, kayaks, and standup paddleboards. To improve your surfing skills, try the two-hour private lessons. The instructor will tailor your session to best meet your needs. Group classes are also available.
