Located an hour away from the Apartments at Spence Crossing, this annual holiday extravaganza never disappoints. This beautiful theme park transforms for winter with 10 million twinkling lights, visits with Santa, holiday shows and live entertainment, plus 25 rides and roller coasters! Colonial Williamsburg Holiday Festivities
Whether you’re checking out the Grand Illumination fireworks at the Governor’s Palace, scoping out the unique holiday decor, or ice skating at Liberty Pavilion, there is fun to be had. Learn how early Americans in the 18th Century celebrated Christmas and experience traditional Christmas music and food throughout the historic area.
Historic Cavalier Hotel
The Cavalier Hotel at the Virginia Beach oceanfront has a slate of holiday events! Reserve a heated igloo for dinner at Becca, their fine dining restaurant. Enjoy breakfast with Santa on December 21 or 2, when there will also be carolers strolling the property. There will be special holiday meals on December 24 and 25 at all the restaurants on the property. After Christmas, plan on ringing in the New Year with festivities throughout the resort and a Havana-themed party. The rest of the winter season, stop by the elegant Raleigh Room on Thursdays for ladies' night (half-price champagne).
